GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Zilogs Z86L78 is a low-voltage microcontroller, a member of the IR (Infrared) Family, with 16 KB of ROM and 493 bytes of general-purpose RAM. Manufactured in CMOS technology and offered in 20-pin DIP or SOIC styles packages, this cost-effective, low power consumption ROMbased device offers fast execution, efficient use of memory, sophisticated interrupts, input/output bit manipulation capabilities, automated pulse generation/reception, and easy hardware/software system expansion.
