Description

The PC1414BSR combines a 14,400 bps data

modem providing error control and data com-

pression with a 14,400 bps Group 3 send-

and-receive fax modem on a standard PC/104

stack-through module. The PC1414BSR in-

cludes FCC Part 68 registration permitting it

to be connected directly to the telephone net-

work.

The PC1414BSR uses the industry standard

Hayes "AT" command set for control and

configuration. This insures compatibility

with virtually all software drivers and appli-

cations software designed for modem com-

munications. Fax configuration is via Class

1 and Class 2 AT Fax commands.

Xecom brings 10 years of modem expertise

to the PC/104 market. In addition to the

PC1414BSR, Xecom offers a complete line

of Fax and Data modems for PC/104 sock-

ets.

PC1414BSR Features

• Full compatibility with Hayes “AT” modem

control and configuration commands. Class

1 fax commands are used for fax control.

• Small Size 3.6” x 3.8” x 0.6”

• FCC Part 68 Registered, for direct connec-

tion to the telephone line;

• 14,400bps data transfer with fallback rates

of 12000, 9600, 7200, 4800, 2400, 1200 &

300bps;

• 14,400bps Group 3 fax with fallback rates

of 12000, 9600, 7200, 4800 & 2400bps;

• CMOS design includes low power Auto

standby mode;

• Error control and data compression pro-

vided with MNP classes 2-5, V.42 and

V.42bis
